My square mug was fairly easy to make. I cut 4 rectangles out of clay that i rolled out. Slipped and scored them into a square, then slipped and scored a bottom and handles on. Finally i glazed it a red color.
My square pot was the same thing as my square mug but bigger. I made bigger slabs and slip and scored them together. Then i slip and scored a bottom on. In the end i glazed it a melon color.
I made this out of a thick slab. I put it around a roller to shape it, then i slip and scored each end together. I made little balls for the eyes and shaped a nose from a ball of clay, then finally i slip and scored all the facial features and a handle onto it. Then i glazed it a gray color.
The face jug was pretty much the same thing, except i used coils to make it. It took a lot of coils to make this. I smoothed it out and slip and scored the facial features on. Finally i glazed it a green color and took it home.
My bottle was one of the hardest projects i made. I made this on the pottery wheel. i started with roughly 1 pound of clay and put it onto the bat. I brought the clay up, and then back down to get all the air bubbles out. Finally i brought it up and then made the top skinny and the bottom fatter.
